Fajã da Ovelha is a quiet sleepy rural village neighbouring the popular village of Prazeres on the West coast of the island. This area is now easier and quicker to reach as the new main section of road recently opened linking the village directly through to Ribeira Brava. This unique property is located a short distance above the village, has a good connecting road and is set in the lower ebbs of woodland creating a 365 degree of stunning views of a truly rural and quiet setting as well as the sea.

From Funchal take the Via Rapida to Ribeira Brava. Follow the main road through to Calheta and then follow the signs to Prazeres. At the roundabout follow the new road sign posted to Ponta do Pargo, follow this until the new road ends and take the first exit on the right to Fajã da Ovelha.

Turn left at the junction and then continue along this road until you reach a small village. On the left hand side is forecourt that sell vehicles and beyond that a small bar. Directly opposite the bar is a small road signposted ´Casais da Serra´follow this road all the way until nearly the end.

The house is situated on the right with the apple orchard to the front.
