From the Airport take directions to Funchal City, the number of this road is R101. It is a new road with many tunnels, taking you across the top of Funchal and down into Ribeira Brava. Pass signs to Funchal, Camara do Lobos, Cabo Girao, Campanario until you reach Ribeira Brava through a long straight tunnel.

Keep to the right hand lane and follow the end of the motorway to the right to towards Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol. Turn left at the junction, just after the petrol station on your left to Ribeira Brava, when you reach the sea front take the road to your right to Ponta do Sol, carry on through more tunnels and you will come to a roundabout at Ponta do Sol take the first exit marked Canhas, continue until you reach Canhas, through the village centre pass the garage on the left, taking the turning on the left diagonally opposite the turning to Paul da Serra and continue down until your reach the property on your right.

Garden
